Plastic Moving Boxes, Delivered

Plastic moving boxes protect your things the way cardboard never can: they don’t crush when stacked, don’t sag when it rains, don’t pass a musty recycled-pulp odour into your clothes, and their attached lids snap shut without a strip of tape. Ours are commercial-grade, 30kg-rated, and sized to stack neatly on the dolly we include.

Because they’re hired rather than bought, you get all the strength of plastic without the cupboard full of empty tubs afterwards — we deliver them before your move and take them back when you’re done.

FAQs

Common questions

Why choose plastic boxes over cardboard?

Plastic totes are crush-resistant, weather-resistant and uniform in size, so they stack safely in a van or truck and protect what’s inside. There’s no assembly or tape, and nothing to break down and dump afterwards.

Are plastic moving boxes waterproof?

They’re highly water-resistant — a South East Queensland downpour on moving day won’t turn them soggy the way it does cardboard. For anything precious we still suggest keeping lids fully snapped shut.

How many moving boxes do I need?

As a rule of thumb: 15 totes for a studio or 1-bedroom, 20 for a 2-bedroom, 35 for a 3-bedroom and 50 for a 4-bedroom home. Every package includes a moving dolly, labels and zip ties, and you can add extra weeks at checkout if unpacking takes longer.

Do you deliver and pick up?

Yes — delivery before your move and collection after you unpack are part of every hire. We service the greater Noosa area, Coolum, Gympie, and (on Sundays) Maroochydore–Nambour. Use the address checker on our home page for an instant answer and delivery price for your postcode.

How long is the hire period?

Every package includes 2 weeks, which suits most local moves — totes arrive a few days before moving day and we collect once you have unpacked. Need longer? Add extra weeks at checkout for a small weekly rate.

Are the totes clean?

Every tote is washed and sanitised between hires, so your belongings go into a genuinely clean container — not a second-hand cardboard box from a supermarket dock.

Do plastic totes smell like cardboard boxes do?

No — and this surprises people who haven't moved in a while. Modern cardboard boxes are made from recycled pulp, which holds moisture and develops a musty odour in Queensland humidity — a smell that can transfer into clothes and linen packed inside. HDPE plastic is non-porous: nothing soaks in, and every tote is washed between hires.
